We're Almost There!
Welcome back, faithful readers, to the Hunters Gathering Blog! November is now here which means we're getting just about to the end of 2020, and while it has been an unconventional year (putting it nicely) we are as always happy to have you with us. We do still have a bit more to offer you yet this year, so strap in for a quick little scroll. And as always we're going to take a second here to remind you that you can connect up with our team and outstanding community on all our official social hubs:
Free Content Friday 2020 November Releases!
We've already given a ton of outstanding content this year, and we aren't done yet because it is time for our November release of our Free Content Friday 2020 run! Here is a quick breakdown if you're new to this, followed by an overview of the releases this month:
Free Content Friday is a program at Hunters Entertainment where we collaborate with industry veterans and members of our amazing community to bring fresh and free content to our games. In 2020 we are very pleased to be growing the program to include Outbreak: Undead.., Kids on Bikes, Icarus, and Overlight (via our partners at Renegade Game Studios)! So, what are we bringing you this time?
For Outbreak: Undead.. we have a follow-up on a previous release from this year, continuing the story you started back in April! Get back on the boat in "Old Man and the Z: Chapter 2" by the games lead developer, Christopher J. De La Rosa, taking to the sea on an unique scenario that is a bit different than your standard zombie romp. On top of that, this release is one of the largest we've done for FCF across the board!
With our Powered by Kids on Bikes line we are back to the small towns this month with more cool stuff for Kids on Bikes! In this release we take a trip with developer Matt Fantastic to the wonderful little New Haven, CT. This is a full Adventure Prompt for the game in the same style as those seen in previous releases, and it even comes with a couple new rules you can consider for your own games!
On to more falling civilizations in Icarus as we deliver to you another fantastical Setting Suggestion coming once again from our own community! Head to a timeline divergent from our own where the great city of Icarus exists in "The Lost World" where humans and dinosaurs co-mingle in a vision crafted by our wonderful community member Maeglin Lossehelin. Find out just what causes this utopian civilization to become nothing more than an archeological find as you guide them toward extinction!
Last, we have a brief note in regards to the content for Overlight this month. The good news is that you'll absolutely have a release this month, the bad news is that we weren't able to get it finished off in time to make the normal deadline. Keep your eyes on the look out for this one in the coming few days!
That covers this month's new free content that you can download over on DriveThruRPG (and it is available right now), but don't forget that you can also get involved by creating content for the program. Just send an email to Alex with a pitch for a content release, and if we approve the idea you'll get to work it up professionally with the team and be paid for your work! We look forward to working with you.
Locking Addresses for Backers!
For those of you out there who have backed one of our recent Kickstarter Campaigns, either Altered Carbon: The Role Playing Game or Alice is Missing: A Silent Role Playing Game, we wanted to advise in as many places as we are able that we are working on getting addresses locked so that shipping can begin. We're putting out word here, as you can tell, and will also have updates going out on the Campaigns directly. So, what do you need to know right now as a backer of these?
Keep a look out for an email from Crowd Ox ending in "@support.crowdox.com" coming no later than this coming Monday (November 9). It's extremely important that backers go to their "Settings" in Kickstarter in order to see what email address is associated with their account. If you don't receive an email, it's most likely that you're checking the wrong address.
Digital Giveaways Galore!
If you haven't caught it recently, as of late we've been doing a load of Digital Giveaways for our community here at Hunters Entertainment. While the one featured above has come to a close, we'll be launching another tonight on our Hunters Gathering Live stream over on Twitch! There has been so much amazing content making it out to our community through this program since we kicked it off, and we have more ideas cooking as we go along.
On top of that, we've been doing multiple Outbreak: Undead.. focused Giveaways during the Hunters Presents "Outbreak: Rag and Bone" stream every Tuesday on top of all the other great stuff we've been doing. Honestly, if you've been looking to check out something by Hunters that you haven't been able to pick up yet this is a great time to be keeping a close eye on our community!
Hunters Entertainment and Forteller Scry!
If you have been by our Twitch channel recently, been following the gaming world news, or are a fan of our series "Outbreak: Rag and Bone" you have no doubt heard about Scry. Hunters Entertainment has partnered up with Forteller Games to bring together some great new interactive technology for the tabletop sphere! The very first version of this has been in place on our channel now for a few weeks, and our community has been using it to interact with our content on a regular basis. This is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg, however, and it is time to talk a little more about that.
Well, we are very excited to say that we've been doing some interesting things already with just the base version, but a new update of the application is coming up very soon! In this new version we'll be adding support for non-subscribers on Twitch to be able to participate and interact alongside our wonderful Subscriber community. To better facilitate this, we'll also be seeing the addition of "Watch Time Accrual" which will allow all members of the Scry to accumulate precious Time to use on the assortment of tasks that come up. Of course, we'll have some background work going on in this update as well that isn't as exciting to chat about, but is laying foundations on which we will continue to build.
Hunters Presents Something Different!
This coming Tuesday, November 10, we'll be doing something a little bit different for our show Hunters Presents. For the past few weeks we've been on an intense ride with our series "Outbreak: Rag and Bone" which came to a pretty exciting cliffhanger moment in the last session. With that in mind, we think this is the perfect spot to take a quick break for a pallet cleanser, but fear not as this will only be a single week break.
So, instead of the zombie apocalypse you've gotten accustomed to, we'll be flying from Mundania and returning to Ragnarock once more. We'll have some more specific details a little later on for you, but expect to see none other than Ivan Van Norman will guide more souls on the path to becoming Gods of Metal! This should be an absolutely brutal and epic time, so make sure you still drop by and have some fun with us next week as we take a small break from our regularly scheduled programming.
Hunters Merch Launched!
As a reminder our long awaited Merch has finally launched. You can drop by and sport the look of your favorite games to show that you are a proud member of the Hunters Entertainment Community! We'll have new items on offer on a weekly rotation, so if you don't see something you want right now be sure to check back every Monday to see what new collection we are putting out.
Right now we have our bag extravaganza featuring Your Zombie Survival Plan Will Fail and Alice is Missing tote and drawstring bags for you carrying needs. Don't see something you're interested in, be sure to let us know what kinds of products you'd like to see over in our Discord Community!

Until next month, stay healthy and stay safe. We're all in this together!
